Public meetings have been called regarding planning work concerning proposals for a change of land use at Hjallabraut and Hlíðarbraut/Suðurgata. The meetings will be held on Tuesday, 12 May. They will also be streamed live.

Public meetings are being called regarding planning work concerning proposals for a change of land use at Hjallabraut and Hlíðarbraut/Suðurgata. The meetings will be held at the Environmental and Planning Services of Hafnarfjörður Municipality at Norðurhellu 2 on Tuesday 12 May from 16:30 to 19:30. The meetings will also be streamed live online and The City of Hafnarfjörður's Facebook page. 

The house will be open to all interested parties, and the authorities' guidelines on the 2-metre rule and maximum capacity will be observed. The meeting room at Norðurhellu offers a maximum of 13 seats in the room.

Previous residents' meeting from 16:30 – 18:00: Hjallabraut
Proposals for amendments to the master and detailed plans will be reviewed. A proposal for an amendment to the master plan is being advertised until 15 May. In light of the current situation, the deadline for comments has been extended until 2 June.

Second residents' meeting from 18:15 – 19:30: Hlíðarbraut/Suðurgata

Proposals for amendments to the main and detailed plans concerning the altered
land use and development within the plot at 10 Hlíðarbraut.
