For the past fourteen years, the school community at Ásland School has supported the Mother's Pension Committee of Hafnarfjörður with donations at Christmas. This year, 370,000 krónur were collected.

Support the Hafnarfjörður Mother's Allowance Committee with donations for Christmas. Ásta
Eyjólfsdóttir, chair of the committee, visited Áslandsskóli this morning and formally accepted the gift from the headteacher, Leif S. Garðarsson. Pupils in the school's Year 5 class were present and were given an education about what will happen.
Regarding the funds raised. This year, 370,000 krónur were raised.
