There was great interest in the plot at 12 Kirkjuvöllum, which was recently advertised for applications. Seven parties applied to build blocks of flats on the plot, which is in the older part of the Vallahverfi district.
There was great interest in the plot at 12 Kirkjuvöllum, which was recently advertised for applications. Seven parties applied to build blocks of flats on the plot, which is in the older part of the Vallahverfi district.
The Vellir has grown rapidly and now has a population of around 4,900. It is a neighbourhood with everything to offer; the area has amenities, a swimming pool, a sports centre and a strong school community.
„There has been a lot of enquiry about plots, and we are seeing an increased interest in plots in Hafnarfjörður. It is very important for us to be able to offer a diverse selection of plots, and it is pleasing to see how many people were interested in building at Kirkjuvellir,„ says Mayor Haraldur L. Haraldsson.
