Great summer courses at the youth centres
The Tómstund summer courses are run by the town's youth clubs for pupils in Years 4 to 7. Groups are organised by age.
Be with your peers this summer
The summer course Leisure is fun and varied, held by the town's youth clubs. There, participants get to try a variety of workshops, creative projects, games and activities in a safe and positive environment. The emphasis is on cooperation, friendship, self-confidence and fun, as well as promoting the activities of the youth centres in a lively and enjoyable way.
There will be a new and exciting format for Tómstund this year. The course will be divided by age, so each group will have a programme that best suits them and more space to enjoy activities and workshops with their peers. This summer, Tómstund will be open from 15th June – 10th July.
Two locations will be available from the town; one course at Hraunvallaschool and another at Víðistaðaskóli.
- Registration takes place at the summer fair: summer.vala.is
Registration for all courses is now open and closes on the Friday before each course week. Registration is on a week-by-week basis. You can keep up to date on the course's Facebook page: Hafnarfjörður Leisure.
