Zoning amendment
Change to the detailed plan for a part of the district east of Reykjavíkurveg in Hafnarfjörður
Gjótur – plots 1.1 and 1.4, in accordance with the approved framework plan of 15 May 2018.
The Hafnarfjörður Town Council approved at its meeting on 29 May. 2019 to advertise a proposal for a change to the detailed plan for a part of the area east of Reykjavikurveg in Hafnarfjörður, Gjótur – plots 1.1 and 1.4, in accordance with the framework plan approved by the Planning and Building Committee on 15 May 2018. The land use of the area is designated as IB2 according to the Hafnarfjörður Master Plan 2013-2025. The detailed plan amendment allows for the development of residential and service premises on the site.
The proposal will be on display at the Hafnarfjörður Service Centre, Strandgata 6, and at the Department of Environment and
Planning Department, Norðurhöll 2, from 4 July to 23 September 2019.

Interested parties are given the opportunity to make comments on the amendment, which must be submitted in writing to the Environmental and Planning Service. The deadline for comments has been extended to 23 September 2019.
