Í Health-promoting community Emphasis is placed on working with four main factors: exercise, nutrition, well-being and quality of life.
„This is an exciting project which aims to improve the public health and quality of life of the residents of Hafnarfjörður with targeted, interdisciplinary health promotion measures for all residents of the town,„ says Haraldur L. Haraldsson, the Mayor.
The first step is to get the schools in Hafnarfjörður that are not registered in the Healthy Schools project to sign up and become active in it. A meeting will be held with the school community in Hafnarfjörður, where representatives from the town's schools that have been working on the Healthy Schools project will present the work they have already put in.
