Hafnarfjörður Surfing Club opens the facility
On Wednesday, 4th February, the Hafnarfjörður Boarding Club's facility at Flatahraun will be opened, following months of interior fitting-out.
On Wednesday, 4th February, the Hafnarfjörður Skateboard Club's facility at Flatahraun will be opened, as the interior fit-out has been ongoing for the past few months. The facility has now taken on a fairly final form, and a skate shop is set to open there, selling everything related to skateboarding.
Open every weekday from 3pm-9pm and 10am-6pm at weekends. Skateboarding sessions are held every weekday except Wednesdays, which is open for BMX bikes. At weekends, skateboarding and BMX alternate days. If there is skateboarding on Saturday, then there is BMX on Sunday; the following weekend, there is BMX on Saturday and skateboarding on Sunday.
