The quiz competition Útsvar

The tenth series of the quiz show Útsvari has begun. The competition this year started when Fljótsdalshérað and Fjarðabyggð met in the first match of the winter in mid-September. This year, 24 teams are taking part, competing for the Ómar Bell. The 8 teams that reached the quarter-finals last winter automatically advance. These are the teams from Hafnarfjörður, Reykjavík, Árborg, Ölfus, Fljótsdalshérað, Snæfellsbær, Norðurþing and Fjarðabyggð. The other teams are drawn, and from the group of more populous municipalities, the following were drawn: Kópavogur, Garðabær, Mosfellsbær, Akranes, Hornafjörður, Borgarbyggð, Grindavík, Vestmannaeyjar, Fjallabyggð, Rangárþing eystra, Sandgerði, Akureyri, Seltjarnarnes. From the group of smaller municipalities, Garður, Þingeyjarsveit and Árneshreppur were drawn, and they also have in common that they are new to Útsvar.
