About the Gallup Poll

Gallup conducts an annual service survey among the country's twenty largest municipalities, asking about attitudes towards the municipalities' services in various areas, based on both experience and opinion. Data collection for 2023 took place from 14 November 2023 to 11 January 2024, and in Hafnarfjörður, 430 people aged 18 and over responded to the survey, drawn from Gallup's panel of respondents through a stratified random sample. The results provide an indication of residents' satisfaction with specific services, regardless of whether they use them or not. They also provide information on areas of service that would benefit from further scrutiny. The results of the service survey were presented at a council meeting this morning.
