Consultation portal on planning matters

The Planning Portal of the Planning Authority is a consultation portal for planning matters, environmental impact assessments and development consents. The planning portal provides information on cases under consideration, accepts comments on cases during the consultation period, and also provides access to final documents and decisions for each case. All planning notices and neighbourhood consultations for the City of Hafnarfjörður are published on the Planning Authority's portal and appear on the overview page for the municipality. What is the Planning Portal?

The Planning Portal is an innovation in planning, environmental assessment and the granting of development consent. The portal provides one-stop access to all planning proposals, environmental assessments and development consents currently on public display across the country, from the start of each process to its conclusion.

In the Planning Portal you can:

• View all cases available for presentation at any given time and retrieve data.
• Make comments on cases during their presentation time.
• Subscribe to receive notifications about new or updated cases in the portal, by relevant case area or location.
