A public meeting to address the issues of older people. A meeting with an open format and an agenda set on the day.
A residents' meeting on matters concerning older people will be held at Hraunsel, Flatahraun 3, on Thursday, 11 February from 18:00 to 20:30. All interested parties are encouraged to attend and take part in a constructive and enjoyable meeting that will contribute to the work on elderly care in Hafnarfjörður.
The meeting will be open, with the agenda and discussion topics decided by the participants themselves. Young and old are encouraged to attend and propose interesting ideas for solutions and ways to improve the council's services for older people.
The house opens at 6 p.m. Soup will be served at the start of the meeting.
A meeting with an open format and an agenda that is shaped on the spot.
It has been decided that the agenda, discussion and ideas will be determined by the issues that the participants themselves wish to raise. After the soup at 18:30, each participant will receive a slip of paper on which to write the topics they would like to see addressed at the public meeting. Afterwards, participants will be divided into tables according to the topics, and can choose a table based on their interests and their own proposals. The format of the meeting is simple and designed to allow everyone to take an active part.
