Hildur Bjarnadóttir appointed building control officer for the City of Hafnarfjörður.
Hildur will take up the post of building officer in October.
Hildur graduated in architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture in the United States in 1988. She is a certified designer under Article 25 of the Building Act and has extensive experience in construction. Hildur has worked both independently and in firms as an architect for over 20 years. She has management experience and has worked within the public sector. Hildur worked for the State Property Valuation Office for several years and for the Building Authority for a short period. Hildur is the current Planning and Building Officer for the Municipality of Akranes.
Hildur will take up the post of building officer in October.
