Staying at home and having fun in town
This year, residents of Hafnarfjörður and friends of Hafnarfjörður are encouraged to
celebrate the national day in an unusual and different way. The City of Hafnarfjörður will in
in light of the restrictions that have been in place in recent weeks and months
to blow a joint festival as is customary, but rather encourage residents to
hold their own home festival. The municipality, however, contributes something to
the celebrations and will offer unexpected but unscheduled events throughout
the town.
