Home payments – applications to be renewed by 19 August
The Municipality of Hafnarfjörður pays monthly home-based payments for eleven months of the year to the parents and guardians of children who are not in a nursery or with a day-care provider from the age of 12 months until the child turns 30 months. Payments cease if a child starts nursery school or goes to a day-care provider before then. Under the regulations, no payment is made for July, and an application for the home payment must be renewed by 19 August each year.
The Municipality of Hafnarfjörður pays monthly, for eleven months of the year, home-care allowances to the parents and guardians of children who are not in a nursery or with a day-care provider from the age of 12 months until the child turns 30 months. Payments cease if a child starts nursery school or goes to a day-care provider before this time. No payment is made for July. The monthly payment is based on the standard subsidy for 8-hour care with a day-care provider. An application for the home payment must be renewed by 19 August each year.
For an application to take effect for upcoming payment months, it must be received by 19 August at the latest. Applications received after 19 August will take effect from the following month, and home payments are not backdated.
Home payments are made for eleven months of the year and are not paid for July.
