Sportspeople of the Year
The Athletes of Hafnarfjörður are nominated annually. The selection is announced at a ceremony between Christmas and New Year, and awards are presented to athletes from Hafnarfjörður who are national champions, cup winners, Nordic champions, and for special international achievements, along with the selection of sports team, sportswoman and sportsman.
Hafnarfjörður warmly congratulates all of Hafnarfjörður's athletes on their achievements.
Athletes and clubs in Hafnarfjörður are considered for the award, and those who top the list of outstanding performers receive the recognition each time.
Hafnarfjörður Town Council and the Sports and Leisure Committee are holding an awards ceremony for athletes from Hafnarfjörður.
