SSH is conducting a survey on the health, well-being and welfare of young people aged 16-25. The survey covers various topics, including which services young people access in their local authority and which services could be improved. The survey is being conducted via the Maskína questionnaire tool. The project is part of the implementation of the 2020-2024 Capital Region's Development Plan, with the aim of further supporting young people in the capital region.

Invitation to participate in a web discussion panel

The Association of Local Authorities in the Capital Region (SSH) has asked Maskína to conduct online survey on the health, well-being and welfare of young people aged 16-25 and their experience of access to services related to prevention and mental health in their local authority. They will also be asked about their expectations for a wider range of services and access to information on service provision. Following this survey, young people in the capital region will be invited to take part in an online discussion forum to delve deeper into the responses received from the survey.

The needs and circumstances of young people for support and services

A working group on behalf of the Association of Local Authorities in the Capital Region is working on standardised criteria for the local authorities regarding the prevention and mental wellbeing of young people aged 16-25.  Emphasis is placed on ensuring the criteria are based on the needs and attitudes of young people towards support and services in relation to prevention and mental wellbeing. The survey and the online discussion forum are part of gathering this information.
