All indoor sports activities run by the municipalities have been suspended.
The Education and Sport Departments of all municipalities in the capital region, in consultation with the capital region's civil defence, have taken the decision to suspend all indoor sports activities and instruction run by them from today until 19 October. All PE lessons will take place outdoors, with due consideration for the highest standards of infection control. Swimming pools will remain closed to the public and school swimming lessons will be cancelled.
These measures are intended to show solidarity with the ISI's actions regarding restrictions on sports events in the capital region. A shield is being raised for children, primary school staff and school activities. The opponent is the virus, and it is important that the residents of the capital region show solidarity and do everything in their power to reduce the number of infections.
