Central course at Krakkaberg from 5th July – 23rd July
A centralised programme will be offered at the Krakkaberg leisure centre in Setbergsskóli from 5th July, and courses will resume in all schools immediately after the Vísitmannhelgi weekend, from 4th August until 23rd August. From 4th to 23rd August, a varied and constructive summer programme will also be offered at all leisure centres in Hafnarfjörður for children in the final year of nursery school, 6-year-olds born in 2014.
Courses resume at all activity centres on 4 August.
A centralised programme will be offered at the Krakkaberg leisure centre in Setbergsskóli from 5th July to 23rd July. The summer leisure programme will then resume in all schools immediately after the Bank Holiday weekend, running from 4th August to 23rd August. From 4th to 23rd August, a varied and constructive summer activity programme will also be offered at all leisure centres in Hafnarfjörður for children in the final year of nursery school, i.e. 6-year-olds. The courses are similar to the regular summer courses, but with a strong emphasis on outdoor activities, physical exercise, and healthy eating, with a particular focus on a variety of games. The children get the opportunity to familiarise themselves with their after-school club and the school's immediate surroundings, with the aim of increasing their sense of security and well-being at the start of their school career.
