Take part in the Pride Parade with the City of Hafnarfjörður
Everyone is welcome in the Pride Parade under the banner of the City of Hafnarfjörður. The city will have its own float in the parade and celebrates diversity with all of you who wish to take part.
Queer Hafnarfjörður for a better town atmosphere
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to take part in this year's Pride Parade with the City of Hafnarfjörður. All you need to do is turn up at Hallgrímskirkja, find the Hafnarfjörður group and celebrate freedom together.
The City of Hafnarfjörður will have a car in the parade this year. It is intended to be most colourful. This year, we will be joined by Vikings and elves. The car will then be decorated with the heart of the town. Yes, the parade is a call for a more colourful society.
The Pride Parade is the highlight of Pride Week, and the City of Hafnarfjörður truly celebrates diversity, as it provides an opportunity for even greater progress.

- The walk takes place on Saturday, 9th August at 2 p.m.
- Meet in front of Hallgrímskirkja at 1 p.m.
- There you will be able to get a T-shirt and decorations, and join a fantastic group to celebrate diversity together.
Hafnarfjörður encourages residents, staff of the City of Hafnarfjörður, and all interested parties to attend in large numbers and take part in the walk under the banner of the City of Hafnarfjörður.
