The Christmas spirit is in Hafnarfjörður

This year, you'll be able to watch the Brikk men fry doughnuts and love hearts in the middle of the Christmas house in the Christmas Village in Hafnarfjörður. „We put our pride and life into this,“ says Þórarinn Þórarinsson, Dengsi from Brikk, who is now entering his second of six weekends in the Christmas Village. This article first appeared in the Hafnarfjörður Christmas Magazine.

This year, Brikk has partnered with other Hafnarfjörður businesses to make the village's central building its focal point. There, for example, hot chocolate will be served in collaboration with Góu in special Christmas village mugs.

„We are also offering our special Ali Christmas sausage in a bun. A premium sausage – the Christmas sausage 2025,“ he says. Tea and coffee will be on offer, as will beer from Ölgerðin. „We'll have tiramisu, Baileys Christmas coffee and Christmas beer so that people on their way to Jóla Hólm, a concert or elsewhere can stop by.“

Brikk has one of its cafés on the North Shore in Hafnarfjörður. „Brikk is more than what you see. We cater for hotels, cafés and, for example, bake all the bread for Jomfrún. We also cater for the National University Hospital and work in close partnership with Tea & Coffee.“ He says the atmosphere at Brikk is always good.

„It's always a pleasure to come to work and enjoy the time with the people who, over the years, have been great friends,“ says Dengsi. He says the Christmas Village is a unique entertainment.

„I encourage people to come and enjoy with us this year.“
