On Saturday, 11th February, Kristín Gunnbjörnsdóttir, an employee of the Family Services of Hafnarfjörður municipality, passed away after a difficult but short illness. Kristín is being laid to rest today from Hafnarfjarðar Church. Attached is a tribute from the Head of Family Services for the City of Hafnarfjörður. Blessed be the memory of Kristín.

Kristín Gunnbjörnsdóttir
Kristín had been an employee of the Family Services of Hafnarfjörður since 2007. She worked in the social activities for older people at Hraunsel and carried out this work with great care and enthusiasm. She was also a glass artist, and her works adorn many places. Alongside her work, she ran glass art courses organised by the Pensioners' Association of Hafnarfjörður. Kristín was the life and soul of the party and will be sorely missed by her colleagues and those involved in the social activities. Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family, with gratitude and respect for our good collaboration and the pleasure of having had her in our company.
