Outdoor Rules – Let's be organised
Around the time school starts, the curfew for children and young people changes. Children aged 12 and under may not be out after 8 p.m. after 1 September. Children aged 12–16 may be out until 10 p.m. at the latest, but there is an exception allowing them to return home from an approved youth activity or sports training.
Around the same time as school starts, the curfew for children and teenagers changes.
Children aged 12 and under must not be out after 8 pm after 1 September. Children aged 12 to 16 may stay out until 10 pm at the latest in the evenings, but there is an exemption allowing them to return home from recognised youth activities or sports training. Such exemptions will become increasingly rare and parents will be informed. Parents have the full right to shorten these outdoor hours and the circumstances must be taken into account on each occasion. Parents are responsible for their children and teenagers.
Teenagers have no business being out after their curfew.
Dear residents, parents and others involved with the children, let us stand together to ensure that our children grow up in a healthy environment.
