One of the many beautiful Christmas traditions in the Christmas town

The Christmas town of Hafnarfjörður upholds the beautiful traditions that have been established in the run-up to Christmas. One of these beautiful traditions is the Christmas decorations made by the oldest nursery school children on Thorsplan. For years, nursery schools in Hafnarfjörður have been responsible for decorating the small Christmas trees that adorn the Christmas Village on Thorsplan. Groups of nursery school children have made their way to the Christmas Village this week with beautiful and environmentally friendly Christmas decorations that they have made themselves. The decorations are most welcome and have added a lovely touch to the Christmas Village from the very beginning.

Creative and fun nursery school children

The decorations are made from recyclable materials and are of various kinds, with ingenuity prevailing. We encourage residents of Hafnarfjörður and friends of the town to take a tour of Thorsplan, see the decorations and perhaps even get ideas for decorations to make at home during Advent, at little cost but with great joy.
