Lúvísa appointed Quality Manager

The Municipality of Hafnarfjörður has appointed a Quality Manager. The position was advertised in mid-September. Lúvísa Sigurðardóttir has been appointed to the role. 

Lúvísa completed an MSc degree in Civil Engineering from the University of
Reykjavík in 2010 and a BSc in Building Technology from the same school in 2008. For the past year, Lúvísa has been working at Actavis, where she
has been responsible for the day-to-day running of the safety, health and environmental management system
of the company. Prior to that, she served as Quality and Safety Manager at
The Hammer Engineering Works, where it was responsible for the implementation of certified
quality management process.

Lúvísa has also taught methodology and statistics.
at the University of Reykjavík. Lúvísa will start work at the beginning of the new year. We welcome Lúvísa.
