Memmm is reopening — in a new location
The Memmm open nursery will be running twice a week this winter. Sessions will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 10 am to 12 pm at Drekavellir 9.
Memmm is continuing in Hafnarfjörður this winter
The Memmm open nursery will restart after the summer holidays on Monday, 25th August. Sessions will be held on Mondays and Thursdays this winter, between 10 am and 12 pm. The school has moved from Selhæll to Hraunvallar leikskóli at Drekavellir 9. Memmm will not be in the school building itself, but at Leikvellir.
The Memmm mornings are run by Memmm Play, which consists of professionals who are interested in the well-being of families in Iceland. This open nursery broadens the world of parents and children and has a positive and encouraging effect on all those who are at home with young children.

But what is Memmm? An open nursery that offers parents, guardians and young children aged 0-6 a family-friendly space for play. Here, parents and children can enjoy quality time together in a beautiful environment. Parents meet other parents and children meet peers during these important formative years of social development.
Families are also offered education on a variety of topics related to parenting and children. The open nursery is welcome to attend at any time during opening hours, and the focus of the work is on play, creativity, flow, and a connection with nature and science, both indoors and outdoors.
