At the meeting of the President's Committee of the City of Hafnarfjörður last Monday, the draft of a new by-law on the governance of the City of Hafnarfjörður and the rules of procedure for the City Council were discussed, along with the draft regulations for the Port of Hafnarfjörður.
At a meeting of the President's Committee of the City of Hafnarfjörður last Monday, the draft of a new by-law on the governance of the City of Hafnarfjörður and the rules of procedure for the City Council were discussed, along with the draft regulations for the Port of Hafnarfjörður. Attached to the minutes were notes from the Legal and Welfare Department and the Economic and Information Department of the Association of Icelandic Municipalities, concerning a working document that had been in preparation within the city's administration. The document was never subsequently presented to the Presiding Committee or any other elected representatives.
Amended draft harbour regulations were presented on 31 August at a meeting of the Presidential Commission, and the memorandum does not apply to those drafts.
