  The heads of the Library and the Folk Museum attended the meeting. Draft budget proposals were presented and introduced. The work plans of the Office of Culture and Tourism, the Folk Museum and the Library were presented.

• 0711060 – Outdoor artwork.

  The proposal from Halldór Ásgeirsson, an artist, regarding the purchase of a public art piece was presented again. A report from the Hafnarborg Arts Council was also presented.

  The Committee thanks the Arts Council for its review. The Committee has decided not to proceed with the purchase of any outdoor artworks on this occasion, despite the positive recommendation from the Arts Council of the Port City.

• 0704203 – 100th anniversary of the town of Hafnarfjörður, programme committee.

  The Cultural and Tourism Officer presented the programme committee's proposals for the 100th anniversary of the town of Hafnarfjörður.

• 0711106 – Cooperation agreement between the Byggðasafns and Hafnarborgar with Glitnir.
