  Skýrsla menntamálaráðherra um framkvæmd skólahalds í grunnskólum skólaárin 2004-2005, 2005-2006 og 2006-2007%0D%0DÍ 4. gr. laga nr. 91/2008 um grunnskóla er kveðið á um að menntamálaráðherra skuli á þriggja ára fresti leggja fram á Alþingi skýrslu um framkvæmd skólastarfs í grunnskólum landsins.   Act on the amendment of Act No. 90/2008 on preschools and Act No. 91/2008 on primary schools. Act on guidance counsellors.

• 0904177 – Leisure and recreation offers in August

  To propose an initiative for nursery school children's final year group, for the period between the end of the summer holidays and the start of primary school.

  The Education Committee proposes that the proposal be sent for consultation to the heads of nursery and primary schools. The observers for the primary schools left the meeting at 9:35.;

• 0904180 – Nursery school place

  Plans announced to increase nursery places in Hlíðarberg and Hamravellir.

  The Education Department was tasked with continuing to work on these plans and requesting cost estimates from the Operations Department. The observers regarding the nursery school left the meeting at 9:45 a.m.;
