The Port Authority agrees to write a letter to the Minister of Industry and Trade regarding the review of the port and land agreement for the Straumsvík aluminium smelter. It was also agreed to send a copy of the letter to Rio Tinto.

The harbour master reported on the status of work on strategic planning for the harbour for the coming years.
It was agreed to hold a meeting with the Planning Manager of Hafnarfjörður and the Chairman of the Planning and Building Committee regarding the future planning of the harbour. The harbour manager and the Chairman of the Harbour Board will attend the meeting on behalf of the harbour.;
