The Port Authority approves the application for its part, provided that the premises comply with all requirements and regulations imposed by the competent authorities. Rent for the site must be paid. This approval is granted provisionally for a period of two years.

The new matter raised by Lárus Karl Ingason concerning the increased costs of writing the history of the Port of Hafnarfjörður, from the previous meeting, was taken up again. The minutes of the 18th and 19th meetings of the editorial committee on the history of the Port of Hafnarfjörður were presented.
The matter referred by the editorial board, as noted in the minutes of the meeting of 20 November, is taken up again. The Harbour Board thanks the editorial board, the authors and the publishing director for their well-executed work and expresses its satisfaction with the book. Furthermore, the Harbour Board agrees that the additional costs incurred, amounting to 1,700,000, shall be paid as the final payment for the work.
