A proposal was presented for an agreement between the Port of Hafnarfjörður and Hlaðbær Colas for the settlement of an earth exchange on a portion of the plot under the building site at Óseyrarbraut 20.

1901032 – 110 years of the Port of Hafnarfjörður
On 1 January last, 110 years had passed since the first harbour regulation for the harbour of Hafnarfjörður came into force at the beginning of 1909.
The Harbour Board will commemorate this milestone, amongst other things, with a photographic and historical exhibition on the seafront in collaboration with the Folk Museum, and will begin the design and preparation for the restoration of the North Pier, which was built between 1941 and 1945.
