• 1012133 – Water quality of water pools in Kaldárbotnar

  The water efficiency of water bubbles and subsequent possibilities will be reviewed.

  The manager of the water supply presented the possibilities for sourcing and using water in the Hafnarfjörður area. The Executive Committee refers the presentation to the working group on employment initiatives in Hafnarfjörður.;

• 1103036 – Green April, presentation

  The following was referred to the Executive Board at the meeting of the Environment Committee/sd 21 on 16 March 2011: “The Environment Committee/sd 21 proposes that the Municipality of Hafnarfjörður take part in Green April and that the Hafnarfjörður logo be green for that month. The committee also intends to urge residents of Hafnarfjörður to consider how they can travel to and from work in the most environmentally friendly way. The committee also proposes to the Executive Board that the paths be a prominent step in the work of finishing walking and cycling paths, with consideration given to connections and signage. The committee would like to propose that work begin on a natural history survey in Krýsuvík.„

  The Executive Council emphasises that a working group on cycling transport is at work and will submit a report at the end of Green April, which will stress the importance of environmentally friendly transport.;

• 11032676 – Operation of Hafnarfjörður's premises

  Presentation of the department's supervision of the management of premises.

  Jón Bergsveinsson and Ishmael David attended the meeting and presented key figures on the management and handling of property. The Executive Council thanks them for the previous presentation.;
