The Planning and Building Committee approved on 6 October 2021 to advertise the proposal for a local plan for the west town and referred it to the town council for confirmation. The town council confirmed the Planning and Building Committee's decision on 13 October 2021. The proposal was advertised from 19 October 2021 to 30 November 2021, and the deadline for comments was extended to 9 December 2021. Comments were received.
The Planning and Building Committee instructed the planning officer on 14 December 2021 to prepare a report on the comments received. A draft report by the planning officer was presented.To be discussed.

The Planning and Building Officer's Committee approved at its meeting on 6 October 2021 to subject the application to neighbour consultation.
HS Veitna regarding a change to the local plan. The change concerns the relocation of a distribution substation at Álfaberg. The proposal was subject to a local consultation from 2 to 30 December 2021. A comment was received. 2104435 – 12 Hverfisgata, planning officer, amendment to the detailed plan
At a service meeting of the Planning and Building Officer of Hafnarfjörður on 28 July 2021, it was approved to give local notice of the application from the owner of Hverfisgata 12, Guðmundur Már Ástþórsson, dated 20 April 2021. Permission was sought to increase the building size from 150 m² to 200.2 m², which entails an increased plot ratio from 0.66 to 0.88.
The proposal was subject to local consultation in accordance with section 43(2) of the Planning Act. The deadline for submitting comments was 14 January 2022. Comments were received. A report from the planning officer has been submitted.The Planning and Building Committee approves the application, referring to the planning officer's report, and refers it to the Borough Council for confirmation.

Hafnarfjörður Town Council, at its meeting on 8 December 2021, resolved to advertise a new detailed plan for the Reykjanesbraut in accordance with Section 41 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010.
The detailed plan provides for the duplication of the Reykjanesbraut motorway with a connecting road that will serve the industrial areas in Kapelluhraun and Hellnahraun. It is defined by a spur from the Krýsuvík turnoff to the municipal boundary between Hafnarfjörður and Vogar, a total distance of 5.6 km. The detailed plan was advertised from 13 December 2021 to 24 January 2022. Comments were received.The Planning and Building Committee instructs the planning officer to prepare a report on the comments received.

2112056 – Tinuskarð 6, change to the local plan
The application from Matthías Óskar Barðason, on behalf of the plot holder, dated 3 December 2021, for a change to the detailed plan for Tinuskarð 6 was referred to the Planning and Building Committee from the planning and building officer's meeting on 26 January 2022. The Planning and Building Committee took a positive view of the enquiry at its meeting on 16 November 2021 and agreed to subject the proposal to a local consultation once sufficient information had been received. The proposal provides for an increase in building volume of 10 m² and the plot ratio will increase from 0.525 to 0.534. The proposal was subject to a local consultation from 15 December 2021 to 15 January 2022. A comment was received. A report from the planning officer has been submitted.
The Planning and Building Committee concur with the planning officer's report, approve the application, and refer it to the Borough Council for confirmation.

1903510 – Hellnahraun Phase 3, revision of the detailed plan
Hafnarfjörður Town Council approved on 08.12.2021 to advertise a proposal for an amended detailed plan for the third phase of Hellnahraun, in accordance with section 1 of Article 43 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010. This concerns a revision of the western part of the detailed plan and an update of the eastern part of the area.
Due to the amendment to the 2013–2025 Master Plan for Hafnarfjörður, the area is classified as land use class AT3 – industrial area, replacing classes B1 (AT3) and B2 (I3). The amendment also includes an expansion of building plots and an increase in the utilisation ratio from 0.5 to 0.6. The maximum building height will be 12m instead of 8.5m, and the combination of plots and the relocation of driveways will be permitted in accordance with the conditions. The number of institutional plots in the area will be increased, and two new southern exits from the neighbourhood will be provided for. The proposal was advertised from 14 December 2021 to 25 January 2022. No comments were received.
The Planning and Building Committee approves the application and instructs the planning officer to finalise the matter in accordance with the planning regulations.

2110101 – Álfhella 2 and Einhella 1, amendment to the detailed plan
The Planning and Building Committee of Hafnarfjörður approved at its meeting on 16 November 2021 to advertise the proposal by Agros Móhella 1 ehf. for a change to the detailed plan for the plots Álfhella 2 and Einhella 1, in accordance with section 1. subsection 43 of the Planning Act no. 123/2010. This concerns an amendment to the detailed plan for Hellnahraun, Phase 2. The amendment involves the merger of the plots into a single plot, to be named Einhella 1. The number of driveways will also be increased and their positions altered, the fixed building line will be removed and the building envelope extended. The maximum height of external walls will be 10.5m. The proposal was advertised from 14 December 2021 to 25 January 2022. No comments were received.
The Planning and Building Committee approves the application and instructs the planning officer to finalise the matter in accordance with the planning regulations.

The Planning and Building Committee of Hafnarfjörður approved at its meeting on 30 November 2021 to advertise the proposal from Járn og blikk ehf., dated. 26.4.2021 for a change to the detailed plan for the plots at Gjáhellu 7, 9 and 11, in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 43 of the Planning Act no. 123/2010. This is a change to the detailed plan for Hellnahraun Phase 2.
The amendment to the detailed plan involves a change to the boundaries, driveways and the siting of plot no. 9. The easement for a shared driveway for plots no. 7 and 9 is removed; a new easement for a shared driveway for plots no. 9 and 11 will be established. Plot no. 9 is reduced in size and plot no. 7 is enlarged.
