Part A of building permits

• SB050517 – Purple Fields 11

  Drawings from 2005 are being updated. The owner, Gudvarður Hauksson, wishes to follow the older building regulations.

  The planning and building officer is of the opinion that the older building regulations should be followed, in accordance with the timetable specified in Building Regulations No. 112/2012, as amended.

• 1211201 – Thrastará 36, updated main drawings for final inspection

  Andri Ægisson submitted updated principal drawings for the final inspection on 16.11.12, in accordance with the drawings of Gísli G. Gunnarsson dated 12.11.12. Corrected drawings were received on 30.11.2012. New drawings were received on 13.12.12.

  The planning and building officer shall process the application in accordance with the Act on Buildings No. 160/2010.

• 1210351 – Hvaleyrarbraut 27, alteration

  On 16 October 2012, Arion Banki hf applied to merge the property units on the second floor in accordance with drawings by Jónas Þórðarson dated 28 February 2012. New drawings were received on 11 December 2012.

  The planning and building officer shall process the application in accordance with the Act on Buildings No. 160/2010.

• 1212165 – Bæjarhraun 16, amendment to building permit

  Foodco hf applied on 17 December 2012 to alter the internal layout and the exterior. See drawings and accompanying documents. New drawings bearing the SHS stamp of 17 December 2012 were received.

  The planning and building officer shall process the application in accordance with the Act on Buildings No. 160/2010.

• 1210088 – Kríuás 1, mobile classrooms building permit

  Application dated 04.10.12 to build portable classrooms at Norðurhella 2 for relocation to Kríuás 1. Drawn by Borghildur Sölvey Sturludóttir, dated 24.10.12. New drawings received on 25.10.12.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the building plans in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations Act No. 160/2010. The conditions of paragraphs 1-4 of Article 13 of the Building Regulations Act have been fulfilled and a building permit has been issued.

• 1206372 – Hamarsbraut 17 car park

  The owner is applying for a change to the parking spaces so that they connect to the garage. A plan showing the proposed location of the parking spaces has been received.

  The Planning and Building Officer has approved the application and will amend the site plan accordingly. Furthermore, the right to a carport in connection with the previous location is cancelled.

Part B: Organisational Matters

• 1209164 – Sörli Riding Club's Event Area, amendment to the DSK

  The detailed plan for the event area was published on 31/10/12 in accordance with section 43 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010, following the decision of the Planning and Building Committee on 16/10/12. The consultation period has closed, and comments have been received.

  The Planning and Building Officer refers the matter to the Planning and Building Committee.

• 0806122 – Selvogsgata 3, concrete wall by the path

  To be discussed is the letter from Gudbjörg Björg Baldvinsdóttir, solicitor for Landslög on behalf of the owners of the house, in which a claim is made that the property boundaries of the house should follow the concrete wall.

  Hafnarfjörður rejects the claim by the owners of Selvogsgata 3 to recognise the aforementioned wall as a boundary between the plots. According to the lease agreement for the plot from 1923, which is still in effect (attachment) and has not been amended, the wall is on the municipal land. It makes no difference whether the owner has utilised the plot up to the wall, as he has never obtained the council's consent to do so, and the owner of Selvogsgata 3 has not paid rent for its use. It is not established that the said wall demarcated the plot or that it was erected shortly after the lease agreement was made, and the council's consent for this is not available. However, plot holders can apply to the council for an extension of the plot.

• 1203374 – Skipalón 21, final inspection

  A final inspection was carried out on 03.04.12 but was not completed as comments were made.

  The planning and building officer requires the building supervisor to apply for a re-inspection before 01.02.13.

• 1212212 – Shipyard 27 final inspection

  A final inspection was carried out on 26.11.07, but has not been recorded.

  The planning and building officer logs the application and sends it to the National Register.

C-part of the message has been resent

• 1212117 – Bjarkavellir 1d.9 residential block of flats

  On 13 December 2012, Valhús ehf applied for a permit to build a block of flats with nine apartments, in accordance with drawings by Sigurður Þorvarðarson dated 1 December 2012.

  The Planning and Building Officer has deferred the matter as the submitted documents are insufficient. Please see the attached comments.
