A proposal for an annex to the deed of gift of Sverrir Magnússon and Ingibjörg Sigurjónsdóttir, which constitutes the founding charter of Hafnarborg, was approved. This annex is made to take into account the recommendations of the Museum Council and the requirements that the museum act imposes on museums regarding valid founding charters.

The director presented a plan for the summer's maintenance work. Einar Már Guðvarðarsonar's wind spinner will be put in place at Herjólfsgata. Emphasis will be placed on maintaining the works at Víðistaðatún, as well as inspecting the pieces that were thoroughly cleaned last summer.

The Director reported on the support from the Museum Council for Hafnarborg. Special project grants were awarded for registration and to improve facilities for children and families. It was agreed to instruct the director to explore the possibility of altering the Hafnarborg space with this in mind.$line$$line$Safnaráð awarded a grant to a collaborative project between Hafnarborg, the Design Museum in Garðabær and Gerðarsafn in Kópavogur. The aim of the project is to jointly promote the museums to international tourists.$line$
