• 0904109 – ÍTH Winter Website 2009-2010

  The ith winter website is well underway, and will contain information about various leisure courses available for children and young people during the winter.

• 0901156 – Youth centres, autumn term 2009

  The Hair, Make-up and Fashion Design Competition was held at the youth centre Setrinu on 6th November. This year's theme was recycling, and the winning team was the Flower Queens from Öldan. One team from each youth club then took part in the national competition, held in Smáralind on 21st November, where the team from Mosinn won the award for the best make-up.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee congratulates both teams on their success.;

• 0911571 – The leisure vehicle

  A representative from Coach Hire attended the meeting and presented an idea for a leisure coach.

• 0911593 – City of Hafnarfjörður, ÍBH and Rio Tinto Alcan, allocation in accordance with the agreement.

  Drafts for the allocation of grants to the sports clubs under the relevant agreement for the sports activities of 16-year-olds and younger, with regard to the educational aspect of coaches and the development of the clubs' curricula, were presented for information, totalling kr. 4,800,000. The grants will be presented at the Sports Festival on 29 December.

• 0911128 – Sports and Awards Gala 2009

  Draft agenda presented. It was agreed to appoint a preparatory committee to organise the programme for the Sports Festival on 29th December, review information from sports clubs for recognition purposes, and finalise proposals for the next meeting. The committee will be composed of the Chairman and Executive Director of ÍBH, the Vice-Chairman of ÍTH and the Sports Officer.

• 0911196 – ÍBH, request for talks with the City of Hafnarfjörður regarding the sports clubs' sports representative

  The chairman of ÍTH reported discussions with the Sports Association regarding the matter.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee requests that the Executive Director of ÍBH and the Sports Officer undertake strategic work, defining the need, costs and other matters related to the project.

• 0911127 – Subsidies for sports and leisure, a summary and overview, autumn 2009

  An overview and summary of subsidies for sports and leisure for autumn 2009 was presented.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee is requesting further information from the citizen portal regarding the subsidies.
