  A summary was presented on the subsidy for sports and leisure for 16-year-olds and younger for the spring term of 2010.

• Annual reports and accounts of sports clubs, 2009

  Annual reports and accounts of the Hafnarfjörður Swimming Club, the Þyt Sailing Club, the Keili Golf Club, and the Hafnarfjörður Shooting Sports Club, for the year 2009, were presented for information. Knattspyrnufélagsins Hauka, Hestamannafélagsins Sörla and the Quarter Mile Club, for the year 2009.

  The annual accounts and membership and participation figures of the member clubs of the Hafnarfjörður Sports Association for the 2008 season were presented for information. The Executive Director of the Hafnarfjörður Sports Association went over them.

• 1003083 – Association of Sports and Golf Course Workers, Spring Conference

  The agenda for the spring conference of the Association of Sports and Golf Course Workers, to be held in the Vörninni hall on 12th March, was presented for information.

  Rekstrarstjóri æskulýðs- og tómstundamála sagði frá hinni árlegri Samféshátíð sem haldin var í Laugardagshöllinni helgina 5.-6. mars. Þar koma saman allar félagsmiðstöðvar á landinu sem vettlingi geta valdið, og skemmta sér á risaballi á föstudagskvöldinu og keppa síðan í söngkeppni Samfés á laugardeginum.%0D%0DEinnig sagt frá Borðtennismóti Hafnarfjarðar en Félagsmiðstöðvar í Hafnarfirði og Borðtennisfélag Hafnarfjarðar standa fyrir Hafnarfjarðarmeistaramóti unglinga í 8. – 10. bekk í borðtennis 2010. Mótið verður haldið í Kaplakrika 31. mars n.k. kl. 10:00.

  Submitted for information in issue 2 of the ÍTH webzine, which reports on the various sporting and leisure events in words and pictures.

• 1001159 – Activity Centre, report 2008-2010

  The Project Manager of the Youth Affairs Office attended the meeting and presented the report on after-school clubs for 2008-2010. This concerns the running of courses in the after-school clubs of the primary schools, which Íth has been overseeing since 2006.

  The Chairman of ÍTH requests a memorandum from the sports and youth representative and from ÍBH on the progress of implementing the action plan of the working group on the equality initiative in sports and leisure activities in Hafnarfjörður, which was presented in February 2009.

  The Sports Representative, the Director of Youth and Leisure Services, together with the Executive Director of ÍBH, were tasked with working on the matter.
