  The work plan for the Department of Family Affairs for 2010 was presented for information.

• 1003084 – ITH, Summer Job 2010

  The Director of Youth and Leisure Services outlined the recruitment process for the summer youth work positions, for which camp leaders were advertised on 15th March.

• 0702123 – Youth centres, organisational changes

  The Director of Youth and Leisure Services reported on the status of organisational changes in the youth centres and presented a report prepared by a five-person working group from the Youth and Leisure Services Department and the Prevention Department.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee thanks the working group for their good work and endorses the findings of the analysis. The Sports and Leisure Committee would like to point out that these organisational changes are intended to enhance leisure services for children and young people.

• 1003280 – Time allocation for ÍBH 2010-2011

  A timetable for the allocation of time slots to ÍBH for 2010-2011 in the sports halls of Hafnarfjörður was presented. The total number of allocated time slots is just over 31,000 when the summer and winter allocations are combined.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee approves the allocation.;

  Maintenance plan for outdoor sports facilities in Hafnarfjörður for 2010, presented for information.

• 0809308 – Equality initiative in sports and leisure activities, memorandum

  A memorandum was presented by the sports representative, the director of youth and leisure services, and the executive director of ÍBH regarding the action plan for the equality campaign in sports and leisure activities.

  Minutes of the working group on the development of the FH area of 25 February and 8 March were laid on the table for information.

  Minutes of the meeting of the Capital Region Ski Areas of 5th March were laid for information.

  The minutes of the meeting of the Hafnarfjörður Youth Council of 16th March were presented for information.
