      Ungmennaráð Hafnarfjarðar hefur kosið sér nýjan fulltrúa til setu á íth fundum, Birgittu Björg Jónsdóttur og varamaður er Fanney Þóra Þórsdóttir.%0DDeildarstjóri æskulýðs- og tómstundamála sagði frá starfi ráðsins undanfarnar vikur.

      A summary of attendance figures for sports halls in 2008 was presented for information.

    • 0901272 – ISB Achievement Fund, grant awards

      A summary of grants from the ÍBH Excellence Fund for its member clubs has been presented; the ceremony will take place on 5 February at Álfafell, the Sports Hall on Strandgata.

    • 0901280 – The Federation of Icelandic Trade Unions (ASÍ), letter - request for free swimming for jobseekers

      Presented for information: a letter dated 19th January from ASÍ regarding a request for jobseekers to receive free swimming.

      The Sports and Leisure Committee welcomes the proposal.

  • 0901273 – Continuing Education Programme and Work Plan 2009, ITH

    A continuing professional development plan and a work plan for the sports department for 2009 were presented.

  • 0901274 – The Lifelong Run 2009, an educational and motivational project by the Icelandic Sports Confederation

    Submitted for information: an information document for the educational and campaign project 'Lífshlaupið', run by the Icelandic Sports and Olympic Association.

  • 0901244 – Unemployed young people

    The Head of Youth and Leisure Services presented the matter. A memorandum from the working group was also presented.

  • 0809308 – Equality initiative in sports and leisure activities

    A report from the working group on the equality initiative in sports and leisure activities in Hafnarfjörður was presented. The chairman of ÍTH reported on the main findings.

  • 0901156 – Youth centres, events 2009

    Hrollur, í anda vetrarins, en þemað er ávallt kuldi, er árleg skemmtun á vegum Félagsmiðstöðvanna Ássins/Mosans sem haldin var 21. janúar s.l. Hrollur fór vel fram en um 300 unglingar sóttu viðburðinn. %0DSöngkeppni félagsmiðstöðva var haldin 29. janúar s.l. fyrir fullu húsi og voru 21 keppnisatriði. Keppnin var hin glæsilegasta og var sérstakt húsband sem lék undir flest atriðanna. Sigurvegari varð Adda Guðrún Gylfadóttir frá Hrauninu, fulltrúar frá Setrinu urðu í öðru sæti og fulltrúar Versins í því þriðja. Þau munu svo taka þátt í landskeppninni þann 20. feb. n.k.
