What is a crash pad?
The Ærslabelgurinn is an in-ground, air-powered trampoline that is level with the landscape and is designed for people of all ages. There has been a great buzz at Óla Run torg since the trampoline was installed, and it is clear that it has a strong and positive appeal. The bouncy castle has therefore not only created a venue for fun and alternative health promotion, but also a space for people and neighbours of all ages to come together and foster community spirit. The area at Óli Run's farm is considered ideal, and the project is well-suited to creating more life on the farm. All „bouncers“ are kindly asked to have a great time, but to do so carefully and in accordance with the rules of conduct posted at the bouncer. The bouncer is timed and will be inflated from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day this summer.
All jumpers are asked to follow the set rules and instructions at the belay so that life is preserved.
An ideal platform for fostering health and community spirit
Ever since The decision by the local authorities in Hafnarfjörður to purchase and install a bungee run at Víðistaðatún was made in the spring of 2019. There is a desire to install belts in more places in the town. To implement the decision and will of the town authorities, the steering group behind Healthy Town of Hafnarfjörður proposed at its meeting in May 2020 that a new and magnificent bouncy castle be purchased and installed at Óla Run Tún in the summer of 2020. Work began shortly afterwards, and the slide has now been opened.
