Nominations sought
Nominations are invited for the 2015 recognition by the Hafnarfjörður Education Council, and the deadline for submissions is 1 May.
The Hafnarfjörður School Office is seeking nominations for the 2015 Hafnarfjörður Education Council Awards, with 1-3 awards being presented annually. The aim of the award is to highlight the importance of school activities by giving special recognition to individual school projects in Hafnarfjörður that are considered noteworthy.
We are looking for projects that have been guided by initiative, professionalism and responsibility, where collaboration in school work has been employed to develop teaching methods and school activities for the benefit of children and students in Hafnarfjörður.
Anyone can submit nominations, which should be sent to Magnús Baldursson, Director of Education Services for Hafnarfjörður, Strandgata 6, 220 Hafnarfjörður, or by email to magnusb@hafnarfjordur.is by 1st May. With each nomination, a short justification would be appreciated. The Education Council will then present its award(s) before the end of the school year.
