Due to a breakdown in the refuse lorry, there has been a delay in refuse collection in the municipality. The contractor has brought in a loan lorry and is working to catch up. Today, the grey bin collection is underway in districts 7 and 8, and district 8 will be completed tomorrow. This will then get the waste collection back on track. There is also a delay in the blue bin collection, and areas 7 and 8 will not be emptied until after the weekend. We apologise for this.
