Hafnarfjörður is seeking an operator for Oddrúnarbær in Hellisgerði.

In the Hafnfirðingar Town Garden in Hellisgerði stands a small, charming house offering great potential and opportunities for the right person. The Municipality of Hafnarfjörður is seeking an operator for the house, which was built in 1905, measures approximately 20 square metres and has toilet facilities. The building will be let to the operator in its current condition, and a one-year lease will be drawn up with the possibility of renewal. Emphasis will be placed on ensuring that the activity within the building aligns with the city's strategy to increase its appeal to residents and tourists. Two greenhouses are planned to be installed at the property this summer, and operators are also invited to submit ideas on how these greenhouses and the surrounding area can be utilised to enhance the visibility and vibrancy of Hellisgerði.

The landlord needs to have use of the house's cellar and toilets for staff summer work. The premises shall be open for a minimum of 10 am to 4 pm on all weekdays between 1 June and 1 September, and during this period the tenant shall be on-site conducting their business, with access to the town's public toilets guaranteed.

An operating agreement will be made regarding the use and obligations of the parties in accordance with the operation of the house.
