Open conversation – Interview with Valdimar in the service centre
The weather is affecting the open interview with Valdimar this Friday. Due to torrential rain and gale-force winds, we are moving the conversation from the glasshouse at Thorsplan into the customer service area. The kettle will be on and it's a great opportunity to chat about whatever is on everyone's mind.
Hot coffee and good chat
Mayor Valdimar Víðisson will be holding an open discussion in the new service centre at Strandgata 8-10 on Friday, 26th September, between 12 noon and 2 p.m. Valdimar was planning to be in one of the glasshouses, but due to the poor weather forecast of torrential rain and eleven metres per second winds, we are making a change and moving the chat indoors to shelter from the storm.
- No appointment is necessary, just turn up. There's no need to meet any age requirement or to discuss a specific topic. Everyone is welcome, whatever is on their mind.
Valdimar already offers residents consultation hours on Tuesday mornings. An appointment must be booked by calling 585 5506. On Friday, however, there is an opportunity to meet him face-to-face at the service centre, this time, without an appointment.
