The service centres, cultural institutions, primary schools, nurseries and swimming pools of the City of Hafnarfjörður have now been given their opening hours for the festive season. Take a look to see when the institutions will be open to welcome you.
Christmas opening hours at the town's institutions
Customer Service and Service Centre
Hafnarfjörður Customer Service at Strandgata 8-10 and Service centre The Hafnarfjörður town facilities at Norðurhellu will be open over the Christmas period, except on the red days.a. The customer service is open Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm, and Friday from 8 am to 2 pm. The service centre is open Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm, and on Fridays from 8 am to 3.20 pm. It will be closed on bExcellence in customer service and service centre on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Opens at 10 a.m. on Friday, 2nd January.

Primary schools
The primary schools of Hafnarfjörður are closed over the Christmas holidays. School will resume at the beginning of January. The start times vary between schools. It is best to check the website of the relevant school for information.
Pre-schools
The nurseries of the City of Hafnarfjörður are open over the Christmas period, except for Rauða days. Registration days are from 22nd December to and including 2nd January, and there are 4 days Christmas nursery schoolArctic in as many neighbourhoods Open. Registration for the Christmas school is now closed.
