Opening hours over the festive period

Attached are the opening hours for the Hafnarfjörður Service Desk and Service Centre, the swimming pools, the library and the municipal museum.

Customer service

• St. Thomas' Day – from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Christmas Eve – closed
• Christmas Day – Closed
• Boxing Day – Closed
• 28th – 30th December – open from 8:00 – 16:00
• New Year's Eve – closed
• From 4 January, the Service Desk's opening hours will be back to normal.

Service Centre

• St. Thomas' Day – from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Christmas Eve – closed
• Christmas Day – Closed
• Boxing Day – Closed
• 28th – 30th December – open from 8:00 – 16:00
• New Year's Eve – closed
• From 4 January, the opening hours of the Service Centre will be back to normal.

Swimming pools

The following applies to all swimming pools in Hafnarfjörður: Ásvallalaug, Suðurbæjarlaug and Sundhöll Hafnarfjarðar.

• St. Olaf's Day – from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Christmas Eve – from 6:30 am to 11:00 am
• Christmas Day – Closed
• Boxing Day – Closed
• New Year's Eve – closed 
• New Year's Day – closed

Library

• St. Thomas's Day – from 10:00 to 19:00
• Christmas Eve – closed
• Christmas Day – Closed
• Boxing Day – Closed
• 27th December – closed
• New Year's Eve – closed
• New Year's Day – closed 
• 2 January – closed

Museum of Local History

• Open on Sunday, 27th December from 10 a.m. 
• Normal opening hours from 2 January.
