At the planning and building officer's meeting on 21 June, it was agreed to subject the application from the owner of Vikurskarð 2 to neighbour consultation in accordance with the Planning Act No. 123/2010.

The proposal provides for an extension of the building envelope and a relocation of approximately 2m to the west.

The proposal is subject to local consultation in accordance with section 2 of article 43 of the Planning Act. Those who consider themselves to have an interest are given the opportunity to make comments on the change. The proposal can be accessed at website of the planning portal

Comments or suggestions should be submitted electronically via the planning portal or to the email address: skipulag@hafnarfjordur.is.  Comments or suggestions must be submitted by 21 July. The period for local consultation may be shortened if those who received the information for consultation sign a statement stating that they have no objections to the change.
