Excited about taking part in the Hafnarfjörður Christmas Village
Never have more people applied for a Christmas house in the Hafnarfjörður Christmas Village this year.Over one hundred applications were received. Applications are being reviewed, and we aim to respond to applicants by mid-October. The Christmas Village opens on Thorsplan on Friday, 13th November.
Sunna Magnúsdóttir, project manager of the Christmas Village, says the interest is extremely pleasing and shows how strongly the Christmas Village has become established in the minds of residents of Hafnarfjörður and visitors.
The Christmas village continues to evolve
„These are reputable businesses and individuals who want to be with us this year. Many have been with us before, but there are also new participants who want to have a go. That's important because it's how we develop the village,“ she says. „This also brings greater variety to the weekends. It will therefore be even more enjoyable to come to the village each weekend, meet friends and acquaintances, and enjoy the run-up to Christmas together.“

- The Christmas village will be open on Fridays from 5 pm to 8 pm, Saturdays from 1 pm to 8 pm and Sundays from 1 pm to 6 pm. It will also be open on Christmas Eve.
