Parents pleased with the after-school clubs
Around 75% of parents are very or fairly satisfied with the after-school club overall, but compared to 2012 when a similar survey was conducted, this figure was only 48%.
A new survey of parents of children at Hafnarfjörður's after-school clubs, conducted in March, shows increased satisfaction with the service.
Around 750 children are at the town's after-school clubs, and responses were received from 259 parents. Parents were asked about numerous aspects related to the after-school clubs, such as access to the management, whether they receive sufficient information, about packed lunches, and whether the staff are effective at resolving any issues that arise.

The management of the leisure centres is extremely pleased with this outcome and attributes this positive result to the staff's tireless work and the cooperation of parents regarding improvements.
