In accordance with the 2nd paragraph of Article 36 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010, a description of the proposed amendments to the Master Plan, which concern part of Hjallabraut and the edge of Víðistaðatún, is published for consultation.

The fringe area of Víðistaðatún, which falls under the HVc1 and HVc5 local protection, will be developed for housing.
The description can be viewed on the Hafnarfjörður City website, www.hafnarfjordur.is, from 17 to 31 May 2019. An information meeting will also be held at Hafnarborg on 23 May 2019, from 17:00 to 19:00, where the description will be reviewed.
